Commercial

Anyone wishing to sell a commercial property is required by law to produce an Energy Performance Certificate, a document which shows how energy efficient a building is. This includes an evaluation of the building's carbon-dioxide emissions. Any property owner found without an Energy Performance Certificate where one is required will face fines of up to £5,000. Countrywide Energy Assessors have a wide range of expertise on commercial property and can act for clients across the UK.

It is a legal requirement for all residential and commercial properties to have a valid Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) in place prior to the sale of the property.
