Countrywide was also highly commended for the Best National Mortgage Adviser and Best Broker Customer Service, and Countrywide Conveyancing Services for Best Conveyancing Provider.
The What Mortgage Awards celebrated its 23rd year of recognising and rewarding the best businesses in the UK’s mortgage and personal finance markets, as voted for consumers.
The voting process for the awards is split into two phases. The first was the “Have your say campaign” which lasted for four weeks. This involved posting the categories on the What Mortgage website and in the magazine and asking online visitors and magazine readers to nominate the names of businesses that they’ve had positive experiences. This data forms a shortlist.
The second part of the voting process, which lasts for 12 weeks, lists the nominees on the What Mortgage website and in the magazine and asks consumers to vote on the shortlisted organisations.
Commenting on the award win, Paul Wareham, Managing Director of Countrywide Surveying Services said:
“We are delighted that our focus on putting our customers at the heart of our business has been recognised and more importantly felt by our customers. We’ve introduced a Customer Experience Team to ensure our customers get the expertise and advice they need, whilst delivering products and services that are designed to support them in making the most important financial decision of their lives.
