Dixons estate and lettings agents, part of Countrywide plc the UK’s largest property services group, is delighted and proud to support St. Basils charity and their #HomeatChristmas campaign.

St. Basils #HomeatChristmas campaign  is a five-week programme that leads up to Christmas and aims to reach out to members of the public to donate items for starter packs, which will be given to young people aged 16-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and are being re-homed this Christmas.

The starter packs contain useful items that are deemed to be needed when moving into a new home and these items can be dropped off at any Dixons estate agency and lettings branch.

Each Dixons office will have a large donations box displayed internally and will be open for members of the public to donate items, including tea towels, pillows, frying pans, cutlery, bath towels, single duvets, toilet rolls, washing powder, cereal bowls and dinner plates.

Dixon’s employees will also be supporting the #HomeatChristmas campaign by volunteering to take part in several activities that help to generate awareness for this worthy cause.

The activities include assisting on the St. Basils stand at the Birmingham German Christmas market and holding a number of office Christmas jumper days.
