Over 400 of the UK's best residential estate agents, lettings agents and mortgage consultants recently gathered to celebrate their success at the prestigious annual Chairman's League Awards.
112 awards were up for grabs, recognising individual and team performances across Countrywide's 1300 estate agency and lettings agency branches.
High achievers from Countrywide Residential Lettings attended a ceremony at Whittlebury Hall Hotel in Northamptonshire, whilst Countrywide's finest within the estate agency, land & new homes and mortgage services divisions celebrated at The Motorcycle museum in theWest Midlands.
Some new faces joined the celebrations after several key acquisitions boosted Countrywide's network to 46 high profile brands, including Hamptons International, UK Sotheby's International Realty, Property Quarters and The Letmore Group
Robert Scarff, Managing Director of Countrywide Estate Agents presented the Estate Agency winners with specially-designed glass trophies to commemorate their success, including nine exclusive trophies, awarded to the best national 'Champions' in their field.
Robert Scarff comments: "Despite the challenging market conditions in 2010, across the Countrywide group, all our colleagues have continued to work hard and go above and beyond and as a result we have seen tremendous success. I'm impressed by the high quality of talent and dedication we see each year and the awards are a great opportunity to recognise industry excellence. We know everyone has worked extra hard this year - a huge congratulations all those who were shortlisted."
John Hards, Co-Managing Director of Countrywide Residential Lettings, comments: "This year has been a challenging but exciting year for lettings. We've had a record-breaking year in terms of growth and performance and the awards are a great way to reflect upon our success and highlight the teams and individuals that have gone the extra mile. It's wonderful to be able to thank everyone for their outstanding hard work and commitment over the last year."
The special Jake Hubbard Inspirational award was created in memory of Countrywide Residential Lettings negotiator Jake who sadly lost his battle with Cystic Fibrosis in January 2009. This year, India-based Sue Bridal won the award in recognition of her dedication, passion and desire to succeed - key qualities reflected in Jake's personality.
John Hards, comments: "I have worked with Sue for over 25 years and her dedication, kindness, patience and amazing coaching skills are second to none. She thoroughly deserves to win this award for all her hard work this year. She gave up her home and lifestyle to move across toIndiaand has made a huge effort to learn the culture and integrate, whilst developing excellent working relations with our providers."
In memory of Jake Hubbard, Countrywide staff raised £1,150 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust at the 'Day at the Races' themed Lettings Awards event.
