Countrywide, the UK's largest estate agents and property services Group, are celebrating the success of their most recent autumn campaign, The Big September Move.
Organised by the UK's leading estate agents including Blundells, Taylors, Abbotts, Mann Countrywide, Bairstow Eves, Bridgfords and Frank Innes, over 16,000 sellers took part in the successful promotion, which included a national Open House Weekend on the 17th and 18th September.
With over 63,800 viewings carried out during the campaign, thousands of eager buyers snapped up properties in time for the festive season. In total, thousands of offers were made on properties across theUK, with nearly 3,000 of those resulting in a sale directly following the national Open House Weekend event.
Robert Scarff, Managing Director, Countrywide Estate Agents, comments:
"The Big September campaign is yet another example of one the innovative ways that our agents are helping buyers and sellers across theUK. As part of our strategy to 'do more to getBritainmoving', we are delighted with the success of the campaign and pleased that so many customers recognised the opportunity to move before the festive season in upon us.
"With nearly 64,000 viewings conducted over the campaign and thousands of offers made, it's clear to see that there is still a high demand for properties across theUK. However, although there are some very determined buyers and sellers out there, access to a mortgage and the ability to save a substantial deposit continues to restrict activity. Hopefully these constraints will ease as we go into the New Year to help boost the market and enable more people to move in 2012."
